Amaryllis Papilio

Amaryllis can add exotic life to interiors in the winter months when "forced" indoors. Amaryllis require very little to grow and produce blooms, often-times sold wax-coated for simplicity in blooming. Bulbs can also be planted into soil pots or in a bulb vases (See Pebbled Bulb Vase) over water to bring forth growth. They prefer tight quarters and minimal watering. Amaryllis bloom in 8-10 weeks from planting time.
Papilio features maroon-red striping on top of the pale green star leaves reminiscent of ornamental lilies with 2-3 blooms per stem.
