Anemone Mistral Bordeaux

Anemones - Shade loving wondrous blooms! A Poète favourite to grow! If kept at a slightly cooler temperature by planting in part shade, Anemones will produce blooms in Canada for months! I typically shoot for an area that gets mostly morning sun and is shaded from the afternoon sweltering heat. These blooms are a cold growing, early blooming garden powerhouse that grow perfectly when planted at the same time as Ranunculus. Plants grow from 10 to 20 inches high with bloom after bloom shooting up from just 1 corm! In Canadian climates it's best to pre-sprout your Anemone Corms 8-10 weeks before your last frost.
