Fritillaria Persica Twin Towers Tribute

These tall deep mahogany, almost black blooms were named in tribute to the 9/11 tragedy of the twin towers. Beautiful large bells grow on long stems produced by large fritillary bulbs. These bulbs are excellent pest repellent tools in the garden as they emit a strong distasteful odour when planted. Persica varieties have been classified as zone 4, however, we have tested them in zone 3 climates with success when planted 8" below the surface!
